Hey Lykkers! Sunscreen is one of those steps I used to treat like a chore, but over time I’ve realized I only stay consistent when I actually like how it feels on my skin.
Texture matters so much more than I thought, especially with daily use.
Right now, these are the two sunscreens I’ve been rotating between, depending on what my skin needs that day.

1. Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen

This is my go-to when I want something light and refreshing. The texture feels comfortable on the skin and doesn’t give that heavy or greasy finish that makes me want to skip sunscreen altogether. It blends in easily and sits well under makeup, which is a big plus for my everyday routine.
I also like that it feels calming on application. On days when my skin feels a little sensitive or slightly irritated, this one tends to feel more soothing compared to heavier formulas.

2. ELFORMULA CERAHYDRO Barrier Sunscreen

This one feels a little more nourishing compared to the first. It gives my skin a slightly more hydrated finish, which I really like when my skin is feeling dry or needs extra care. The formula feels smooth and blends in nicely without leaving a white cast, which makes it easy to use daily.
I usually reach for this when I want my skin to look a bit more “healthy glow” rather than completely matte. It sits nicely on the skin and doesn’t feel uncomfortable throughout the day.
I’ve learned that the best sunscreen isn’t just about SPF numbers—it’s about whether I actually enjoy wearing it every single day. Dr. Althea is my easy, lightweight daily option, while ELFORMULA is what I reach for when my skin needs a bit more comfort and hydration. Having both makes it easier for me to stay consistent, no matter how my skin is feeling. And honestly, that consistency is what makes sunscreen actually work in real life.
