I’ve been rotating through perfumes that feel completely different from one another, and these three ended up standing out for very different reasons. One feels quiet and slightly mysterious, another is bright and playful, while the last has that comforting sweetness I keep wanting to smell again.

None of them gives me the exact same mood, which is probably why I enjoy having all three in my fragrance rotation.

Quiet and Unexpected

Byredo Future Memories

This is the one I reach for when I want something that feels understated but still interesting. From the first spray, Future Memories gives me a clean, airy impression rather than something loud or heavily sweet. I like that it doesn’t immediately reveal everything at once. It feels soft, slightly abstract and surprisingly easy to wear.

What I enjoy most is the mood it creates. On me, it feels polished without becoming overly formal, so I can wear it during the day and still feel like I’ve chosen something a little unusual. It’s the kind of perfume I notice in small waves rather than one intense cloud, and that makes me want to keep smelling my wrist throughout the day.

The Fun One

French Cowboy Fig Lemonade

This bottle already looks playful, and the fragrance completely matches that energy for me. Fig Lemonade feels brighter, fruitier and much more cheerful than the Byredo scent.

I get that juicy, slightly creamy fig impression mixed with something fresh that keeps it from becoming too heavy. The “lemonade” side gives it the kind of lively character I especially enjoy when I want perfume to feel casual rather than serious. I can easily imagine wearing this on a warm afternoon, on holiday or whenever I want something that simply puts me in a better mood.

It’s probably the most instantly likeable of the three for me.

Sweet Without Feeling Boring

d’Annam Bubble Tea

Bubble Tea is the fragrance I was most curious about because the concept sounded so fun. Thankfully, it doesn’t feel gimmicky on my skin.

I find it soft, creamy and gently sweet, with a cosy quality that reminds me of walking into a café and ordering something comforting. What I love is that the sweetness doesn’t completely overwhelm the fragrance. It still feels wearable rather than dessert-like.

Out of these three, this is the one I reach for when I want something comforting and cute without smelling overly sugary.

I wouldn’t choose a single winner because they serve totally different moods. Future Memories feels refined, Fig Lemonade feels joyful, and Bubble Tea feels cosy. That contrast is exactly what makes this little fragrance trio so fun for me.
