Soft Makeup, More Dimension

· Fashion Team
Some days I want my makeup to look finished without feeling overly done. I usually focus on a comfortable base, soft eye definition and a little colour on the cheeks rather than building lots of separate layers.
These four products have been useful for exactly that kind of routine, especially when I want everything to come together quickly. What I like most is that each one adds something noticeable without completely changing the character of the look.
1. Dior Forever Skin Glow
Dior Forever Skin Glow is the product I reach for when I want my complexion to look smoother but still have some natural dimension. I prefer applying a small amount first and blending it out with a damp sponge, especially around the centre of my face. The finish looks polished without appearing too flat, which is important to me because I still want my skin to look like skin. I also find that it works nicely as the starting point for softer makeup because I do not feel the need to add many extra complexion products afterwards.
2. Too Faced Natural Eyes
The Too Faced Natural Eyes palette is the kind of palette I keep around because neutral shades are simply easy to work with. I tend to use palettes like this when I want subtle definition rather than an obvious eye look. A lighter shade across the lid, something slightly deeper through the crease and a softer darker tone near the lashes is usually enough for me. What I like about this type of colour story is that I can make it barely noticeable during the day and build it up a little more when I have extra time.
3. KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks
The KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks are what I choose when I do not feel like using brushes. Having several shades together makes them surprisingly versatile, and I like being able to swipe colour directly onto the lid and blend it quickly with a fingertip. The pale and cooler shades feel useful for brightening, while the deeper pink tone adds more character. For me, these make eye makeup feel much less complicated.
4. Milani Blush
The Milani blush brings the whole look together. I like the soft pink tone because it adds colour without making the cheeks feel disconnected from the rest of the makeup. I usually start with very little and build gradually, concentrating it slightly higher on the cheeks for a fresher effect. It is one of those finishing steps that makes me look more awake almost immediately.
This combination works for me because nothing feels overly elaborate. I get an even-looking base, easy eye definition and enough colour to make the final result feel complete rather than carefully constructed.
