A little blush can completely shift the mood of my makeup. Some days I want that soft, romantic flush, while other days I’m in the mood for cheeks that look polished and almost airbrushed.
Essence Soft Touch Bouncy Blush in 10 Antique Bloom and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder Blush in Ecstasy give me two different blush moods to play with.

1. Essence Soft Touch Bouncy Blush – 10 Antique Bloom

Affordable blush with a pretty little pop of color? Yes, please! The first thing I love about the idea of Antique Bloom is the romantic feel of the shade name. It sounds perfect for a makeup look built around soft colors, fluttery lashes, and a rosy-nude lip. The bouncy blush format also makes this one interesting for anyone who enjoys something between a cream and a powder texture.
I’d tap a small amount onto the apples of my cheeks and blend it outward for a diffused finish. For everyday makeup, I wouldn’t go too heavy with the color; a subtle flush can make the whole face look fresher without taking attention away from the rest of the look.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder Blush – Ecstasy

Now, this is the blush I’d bring out when I want my makeup to look a little more polished. Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Powder Blush in Ecstasy is a lovely option to consider for a refined cheek look, especially when I’m wearing foundation and want everything to blend seamlessly.
A fluffy brush would be my choice here. I’d pick up a little product, tap off the excess, and build the color gradually rather than applying too much at once. The powder format also makes it easy to layer over foundation without disturbing the base when applied with a light hand.
I don’t think every blush needs to create the same effect. Sometimes I want a quick wash of color, and sometimes I want my cheeks to be part of a more finished makeup look. Having a bouncy blush and a powder option gives me flexibility, so I can choose my cheek color based on the vibe I’m going for that day.
