Foundation can look completely different depending on the brush I use. Some brushes give me more control, while others make blending across the cheeks and forehead much faster.
My current lineup has three different styles that I like reaching for when I want my base to look smooth and even.
1. Shiseido Daiya Fude Face Duo
The Shiseido Daiya Fude Face Duo is one of the more unique brushes in my collection. The design gives me plenty of control while working with foundation, and I enjoy using it when I’m taking a little extra time with my makeup. I can spread product first and then smooth everything out for a polished finish. It feels especially useful around smaller areas where precision matters.
2. Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Foundation Brush
Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Foundation Brush is my choice when I want to get my base done quickly. The densely packed bristles pick up liquid foundation nicely and make buffing it across the skin feel effortless. I can start with a small amount and build coverage gradually rather than applying too much at once. The shape also gives me good control around the nose and other tighter areas.
3. IT Brushes Foundation
The IT Brushes Foundation brush has a fuller feel that makes it easy to blend over larger areas. I like using it when I want a soft, seamless-looking base without spending ages going over the same spots. The brush works well with a light layer of foundation, and I can add more product where extra coverage is needed. It’s a practical everyday option when I want my makeup application to stay simple.
I like having all three because they give me slightly different application experiences. Shiseido is my pick when I want more control, Rare Beauty is great for quick liquid foundation blending, and IT Brushes makes buffing larger areas feel easy. Sometimes changing the brush is all it takes to make my usual foundation look a little different.
